The Artfkt collection library
Fire & Ice
Set a word alight. Freeze a surface.
Start with a word, a cutout or an image. Fire lifts bright tongues from its silhouette; Ice catches cool light in cracked crystal and frost. Both are available in the website demos and Artfkt desktop.
On desktop, Material treatments attach to solid text and 3D objects as they turn. Final image creates the silhouette treatment on the rendered picture.
Included in the Artfkt desktop app. All collections, one desktop studio.

Start with the word you want to say
Add editable text and begin with a short title in a broad font. Fire and Ice can give the same letterforms different moods while keeping the words available for revision.
A fitted text background is a separate readability control. Choose Fitted lines for a joined caption contour or Block for one backing, and set Corner radius to zero for square edges. Local letter effects leave this backing clean.
Choose where the treatment lives
Final image works on the completed picture. It can lift flames above transparent lettering or grow an icy edge around a cutout. An opaque photograph keeps its full rectangular coverage.
Desktop Material works on solid text and 3D objects before native lighting. Ember patterns and frost turn with the object; Ice can add apparent relief and gloss. These coatings do not create new geometry.
Hold a frame or let it change
Fire has an intrinsic moving field when artwork motion and playback are enabled. Speed zero holds it. Ice begins still, with shared Motion controls available when you want to animate its amount, frost or shine.
Check the lettering at its intended export size. Leave space above flames, reduce crystal detail when small letters become busy, and compare with the original using Mix.
Effects in Fire & Ice
2 effects to explore and combine.

Fire
Fire heats the source color and lifts turbulent flame tongues above its visible silhouette. A transparent text or cutout layer gives the flames room to rise.

Ice
Ice combines cool color, irregular crystal facets, cell cracks and a bright icy edge. Start with editable text, a cutout or an image and balance frost against the original detail.
Try Ice in the browserCreative applications
- Give a poster title rising flames while retaining editable text.
- Create a frozen wordmark with cracks and blue-white highlights.
- Explore ember and frost coatings on a rotating solid object.
Starting workflow
- Add Text and type a short title, or select an image layer.
- Choose Fire or Ice from the Text Inspector shortcuts or Browse Collections.
- Shape the look with Heat and Flame height, or Frost, Cracks and Shine.
- For an attached 3D coating on desktop, select a model or solid text and choose Material.
- Compare with the source using Mix, then export through the host's existing export options.
