A dancer appears between subway pillars. A microscope slide swims across a print. Watch six seconds of each, then take the first film apart and make it yourself.
Both clips play from the start. Screen lets the light folds of the dress through and leaves the rails visible in the shadows. Here are the two sources and the finished frame at 2.5 seconds.
Open the free browser demo with Color selected. In Layers, remove the starter Duotone under Document. Choose Add → Video and pick the subway clip. The first Video replaces the sample photo.
Set the canvas to 768 × 576 using Resize canvas to video if needed. With the subway selected, add Color → Duotone to its own FX stack. Set Shadows to #101348 and Highlights to #20D9DE. Leave Tonal balance at 0.50 and Transition at 0.80. Keep FX motion off for these colors.
Choose Add → Video again and pick the dancer. Place her above the subway, at the same size and position. Set her layer blend to Screen and opacity to 100%. The subway stays at Normal and 100%.
Leave both start offsets at zero, both trims at 0–6 seconds and playback speed at 1×. Choose Animate, set the timeline duration to six seconds and press Play. Replace the top clip to see what else can move through the tunnel.
Each film runs for six seconds without sound. Play one to see what its layers contribute. The last two use licensed footage routed through a virtual camera into Artfkt’s Webcam layer.
A pond creature rolls through a field of crystal facets. Where the two videos meet, Difference turns the microscopic detail into shifting bands of color.
