Let the surface move
Six instruments turn color into rounded tiles, twisting ribbons, reflective ribs and flowing channels.

Tiles, folds and ribs
Terrace Flow builds staggered rounded tiles; Ribbon Torque twists thick strips and opens transparent gaps; Spectral Bellows interrupts dense ribbing with migrating smooth sections. Their different structures make them useful as the main treatment in a composition.
Image color retains recognizable fragments. Abstract color supplies a procedural field in Ember, Electric or Pearl, including when the input is plain.
Open, pour and lift
Shutter Wave rotates neighboring slats to reveal the source beneath. Liquid Channels keeps its boundaries fixed while the contents stretch and gather. Pressure Wave lifts a continuous ribbed sheet with a broad moving swell.
Choose the gesture before adding shine. A modest lighting sweep can explain the surface clearly; stronger spectral edges suit graphic abstraction.
Compose a loop around one gesture
Start with the orange photograph or another source with a clear warm/cool boundary. Add Ribbon Torque, use moderate Twist and leave enough Separation to see its edges. Compare the broad Satin highlight with the narrower Glazed glint before trying Chrome.
Choose the still pose with Phase. Enable composition Motion and FX Motion, then Play through the complete composition. Loop fits Cycles to its duration. For a slower secondary lighting rhythm, give Light angle Custom settings and keep the other controls steady.
Check the first and last moments and the smallest intended output. Built-in movement is periodic, but separately moving input and parameter lanes must also close their cycles.

Starting workflow
- Start with a photograph with broad warm and cool regions and one recognizable shape.
- Add Terrace Flow for stepped glazing, Ribbon Torque for open folds, or Spectral Bellows for dense metallic ribs.
- Set the geometry before choosing Satin, Glazed or Chrome. Keep the source readable at thumbnail size.
- Set Phase for the still composition, enable composition Motion and FX Motion, then Play. Use Custom parameter lanes for a separate light or shape rhythm.
